Recently purchased the new addition to our family "Wrigley" a fluffy, snuggly ball of fur. Tyler was very knowledgeable and made the process simple and smooth! The amount of goodies and care that come with your new bundle of fur is awesome, everything and more that we needed! Thanks Tyler and Petland!

The staff was super friendly and kind. We could not afford a puppy we fell in love with and my daughter cried for 30 minutes- they were nice about it and didn't seem annoyed by her being upset. They tried their best to work with what I had.

I have a Petland puppy that I love with my whole heart ! He’s outfitted with booties, coats, food, treats, leashes, and the poop bags ALL FROM PETLAND! The staff are kind and knowledgeable about the products that they are selling. Shout out to Cameron for always having answers to all of my pet questions ❤️

Very clean store and nice staff that helped us get our Starla girl! This is the second Chow Chow our family has gotten from here and we will back for any future pet adoptions.

Went in last week and bought a mini bulldog and she is the most precious thing! She fits right in with our family! We couldn't be happier! We had a great experience! Took her to the vet and she is healthy! She definitely keeps us on our toes and keeps us entertained! Thank you for a great experience and for a great puppy 🐶 ❤️ …

We always love going to Petland and playing with the puppies. We are hoping to find one soon but enjoy checking out the options. The staff is really nice and helpful with any questions we’ve had.

Wonderful experience getting our puppy. I had done a lot of research prior on the breed and she had tips on holding her and everything. You could tell the workers loved her as much as we did. We did recently visit the store so they could see her. We had traveled 2 hours to get her to begin with but all worth it. She loved seeing some of the workers!

Wow. Life changing. We visited the Iowa City Petland in December 2025. The employees were all friendly and helpful. We met two managers over two separate visits, and they were both friendly and patiently answered all of our questions. The puppies are cute. We spent time with three different puppies. What was really the most impactful part of our visit is how well adjusted each of the puppies were in their personalities and behavior. Very unexpected. Their cheerfulness and friendly demanor is probably due to the nice employees having positive interactions, as well as the wide variety of customers coming to visit them: old, young, rural, urban, etc. The store had a steady flow of customers who appeared to be seasoned pet owners as well as famlies with children. The puppies' regular exposure to a variety of people seemed to give them a broader and deeper socialization. In a moment, if you look around the store, you can see the environment of positivity created by the employees, customers, and skilled managers. We ended up taking a puppy home after our first visit. On our second visit to the store, the puppy came with us, was happy to be there, and took time to greet his old puppy friends who were happy to see him. It's a type of business I'd like to be supportive of. Much appreciation for the store owners, managers, and staff.
